Job Mission 🚀

The Platform team empowers a great engineering experience by owning shared services, cloud infrastructure, and our Authentication/Authorization foundation. As our Senior Platform Engineer, you’ll help empower our engineering teams through a great developer experience and a robust platform built on a modern tech stack.

You’ll join a team of three and work across Tibber Engineering - unblocking teams, diving into production issues, and shaping best practices that scale.

What you'll do ✅

• Own and evolve shared platform services and cloud infrastructure
  

• Build and maintain production code (.NET + some TypeScript)
  

• Own platform tooling and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
  

• Run Kubernetes workloads and delivery flows (Helm, Kustomize, ArgoCD)
  

• Contribute to AuthN/AuthZ (OAuth2)
  

• Raise the bar on safe delivery (testing/validation, rollout patterns, deployment practices)
  

• Drive improvements via PoCs and join the weekly “goalie” rotation to unblock teams and troubleshoot
  
  You’ll also be part of our on-call rotation (we’ll share the setup during the process)

What we're looking for⚡

• Platform mindset. You enjoy building secure, reliable foundations that help teams ship faster and safer.
  

• Hands-on cloud experience. AWS (or similar) across networking, IAM, databases/queues - and Kubernetes.
  

• Production judgement. You’ve operated infrastructure in production and make thoughtful trade-offs when reliability, security, and speed collide.
  

• IaC + delivery. Comfortable using Terraform and working with Kubernetes delivery workflows (Helm/Kustomize/ArgoCD).
  

• Strong engineering fundamentals. You write clean, maintainable code - ideally in .NET (TypeScript is a plus).
  

• Team-first & clear communication. You enjoy unblocking others, improving how we work, and communicate well in English.
  
  Tech we use: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm/Kustomize, ArgoCD, .NET, TypeScript, Go (strong fundamentals matter more than specific language experience).
