Job Mission 🚀

As a Backoffice Specialist, you will be responsible for the "fine-tuning" of our Dutch operations. This is a role for someone who loves the intersection of data, processes, and problem-solving. You won’t just be executing tasks; you’ll be identifying bottlenecks and improving how we work with grid operators and suppliers to ensure the energy transition is seamless for every Tibber user in the Netherlands.

What you'll do ✅

• Operational Excellence: Manage and solve (complex) operational tickets related to grid connections, metering, and billing.

• Supplier Mediation: Act as the primary point of contact and mediator between Tibber and other energy suppliers or Dutch grid operators (Netbeheerders).

• Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to automate or streamline current backoffice workflows to increase efficiency.

• Process Implementation: Seamlessly implementing new processes and rules based on the ever-changing political and energy landscape to ensure compliance.

• Data Management: Maintain data quality within our systems, ensuring that customer and energy data is accurate and up-to-date.

• Problem Solving: Dive deep into operational discrepancies, using your analytical skills to find the root cause and implement lasting solutions.

What we're looking for⚡

We believe you are a structured "fixer" who enjoys turning complexity into clarity. For this role to be a great match, we believe you:

• Language Skills: Speak and write fluently in both Dutch and English. This is essential for communicating with local partners and our international team.

• Numerical Affinity: Have a natural comfort with numbers and data. You enjoy the math behind calculations and recognize the data behind the data. 

• Consumer mindset: Numbers and processes guarantee exceptions. You find the best solution for the customer & Tibber at the same time.

• Excel Savvy: No pro yet? No problem.

• Process Mindset: Have a genuine affection for operational processes; you don't just follow a manual, you look for ways to rewrite it for the better.

• Experience: Ideally have experience in a backoffice, customer operations, or administrative role, preferably within the energy or utility sector (though not required).

• Hybrid Heart: Enjoy the balance of a hybrid setup, being present in our Amsterdam office located on Keizersgracht & the possibility to work from home.
