🚀🚀Job Mission

As a Head of Treasury, you are part of the Tibber finance team and will be an integral part of helping us build our global finance team. Some of your responsibilities (but not limited to) will include:

Leading the treasury function for the group. You will be in charge of all treasury-related tasks in close collaboration with the group CFO and a Treasury Analyst. This is a small team of 2 so a very hands-on treasury person who is willing to roll up their sleeves is critical.

Cash forecasting. You will have to set up solid 13-week cash flow forecasting models split between cash forecasting for energy and the rest of the business including monthly cash burn ratios and working capital analysis.

Building professional treasury function. The treasury function at Tibber is not yet in place/established so you will have to build up the process including putting in place Cash Pooling, Setting up a professional treasury management system, and managing FX risks/exposures for the group.

FX management and accounting under IFRS for foreign currency. You will drive FX strategy for the group as well as ensure that the accounting team understands and properly accounts for FC transactions and translations.

Refinancing. You will be leading the refinancing of the current RCF loan during 2023 to ensure sufficient liquidity is available for areas where we do not have bilateral agreements in place with energy providers. You are to come up with different financing solutions to manage the AR exposure that Tibber has in certain areas of the group, including but not limited to the securitization of receivables and other similar financing solutions. Solid experience and creativity in this area are expected.

Stakeholder management. You will maintain strong communication (in Swedish and English) with banks and our other financial service providers as well as manage covenants with both financial institutions and energy partners with whom we have bilateral agreements.

Hands-on training and support. You will be responsible for the daily management and development of 1 treasury analyst

Creation of policies and guidelines. Helping to create and implement treasury policies and guidelines to ensure that all financial activities are conducted in accordance with company standards.

Teamwork and strong attention to detail. You will work closely with our FP&A team, Accounting team, and group CFO to ensure that accounting records are accurately maintained and that all financial transactions are correctly recorded and make strategic decisions regarding how much cash should be held in case of unexpected expenses or fluctuations in income.

⚡⚡️Ideal Profile

Global-level treasury experience. Familiarity with treasury and banking practices in our current markets (Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, and Germany) as well as other European countries. Having a strong reputation with banks and strong banking relationships in the Nordics.

Cultural Fit. Understand that this is both a strategic (leadership) and hands on role, so ideally have experience in both large corporates and PE/VC-owned businesses with a cash-tight environment/reporting structure.

Process-driven. Proven track record when it comes to end-to-end execution and follow-through of processes, and financial plans for managing budgetary needs.

Treasury tool know-how. Strong knowledge of different treasury management systems, setting up cash pools in multi-currency/country environments, risk management, and project management, including experience with treasury tools and bank connectivity (TMS, eBanking).

Good communication skills. Fluent or native business English (our company language) and at least one Nordic language (ideally Swedish or Norwegian given the banking relationships in the Nordics).

Team player. Detail-oriented and high-level, the hands-on leader is driven to inspire, motivate and empower your team to achieve our growth goals.
